Freelance Social Media Exec

We are looking for an experienced freelance social media exec to join our team, who must have some commercial experience in social media and digital marketing activities. This is a remotely-based role, working from your own home/office, so you must be self-motivated and able to work well on your own initiative as well as being part of our existing team.

Your role will include looking after two of our social media management clients and helping with the social media promotion of our in-house published magazines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Social & digital media activities and communications for our magazines and our social media management clients
  • Working with the sales team to monetise social media promotions and competitions
  • Creating and instigating quarterly activity plans for your clients
  • Producing and editing photography, videography and copywriting for posts
  • Able to compile monthly analytical reports to clients (mainly across Facebook, Instagram, X and TikTok)
  • Design and update in-house social media promotional documents and magazine adverts for our own social media services as required
  • Be able to use social media scheduling platforms like GAIN & Sprout Social
  • Be a confident user of design software e.g. CANVA or similar, and have a keen eye for graphic design
  • Keep up-to-date with the ever-changing social media trends and market developments
  • Work closely with the other members of the social media/digital comms team

We at JFN Productions are innovative publishers of natural health-based magazines. Our flag-ship titles include consumer magazines: Your Healthy Living in the UK and Rude Health Magazine in Ireland. Plus, we have direct links with the trade through New Natural Business, our retailer- and supplier-focused title. Our Digital Comms team cover all social media for our magazines, plus we manage social media for various external clients. We are a well-established, long-standing business within the natural product industry.

Part-time Office Administrator

We are a small, long established and professional publishing company based in Steeple Bumpstead looking for a part-time office administrator to join our friendly and productive team.

You will be liaising with various departments to help pull each of our publications together therefore first-rate communication skills are a must.

You must be the sort of person who pays attention to detail and is meticulous in your work and time management as we are a deadline-based business. You must be familiar with Excel and Word and preferably be able to type. A knowledge or interest in natural and organic products, the sector in which we operate, would be useful but not essential.

Hours are flexible for the right person but ideally, we would like someone who can work something akin to 3 x 5-hour days on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Unless you live in Steeple Bumpstead, you will need your own transport and there is ample free parking.

Duties will include liaising with our advertisers to get their copy for all our magazines, managing that copy thereafter, databasing, data mining to provide possible leads for our sales and social media teams, producing management reports, helping out at an occasional exhibition and general office admin.

Media Sales Executive – Part time

We are looking for a self motivated, energetic, results driven, customer focused, media sales person to join us to sell advertising solutions and media services across our natural health industry titles.

The right candidate will:

  • Have already gained some experience selling advertising across various platforms
  • Be confident making telephone sales calls and meeting clients face to face
  • Understand and be used to working to, and achieving, sales targets
  • Be willing to take guidance and direction
  • Possess a strong work ethic
  • Have a car and clean driving licence
  • Be able to work in our Steeple Bumpstead office
